YASZ passed two boats – bonopostovschika “Captain Balashov” and “Captain Barabash”
On June 19, 2018, at the site of PJSC Yaroslavl Shipbuilding Plant, the state commission, after successfully completing the tests, signed acts of technical acceptance of the fifth and sixth ship in a series of six boats-booster trucks of project A40-2B-YAR (serial numbers 165, 166) Balashov ”and“ Captain Barabash ”.
The acceptance commission of the state customer has determined that both vessels are ready for operation and transportation to the ports of destination: Vladivostok and Nakhodka.
The contract for the construction of a series of boats of 6 units was concluded between PKU “Directorate of the state customer” and PJSC “Yaroslavl Shipbuilding Plant” in October 2014.
The built ships correspond to the class KM Ise2 R3 RSN Aut 3 oil recovery ship (> 60 °) of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and are intended for rescue operations and the following operations:
–Transport of means of liquidation of spills of oil or oil products in coastal sea, river and lake search and rescue areas, in the waters of bays, bays, sea and river ports;
–Localization of the distribution of spilled petroleum products by means of setting booms and constructing oil gathering orders;
–Elimination of spills of oil or petroleum products by collecting them in floating vessels and further towing of tanks to the place of reception by coastal or floating stations;
–Search and rise from water of floating objects and people.
